Richard B. Russell Building Cafeteria
This project was the renovation of the 10,000 sf Richard B. Russell Federal Building Cafeteria. Project included including complete new ceiling grid and tile, energy efficient lighting; HVAC; Sprinkler and Fire
Alarm system upgrades. Work was performed in a fully occupied facility and performed in 5 phases. Demolition was performed at night and on weekends to accommodate occupants. Special considerations and challenges included designing the project phasing in a manner that maintained the circulation to the Federal Courts witness lunch area that was completely separated from the general public cafeteria circulation area.
Renovate Club/Coffee Shop, Dobbins AFB
This project was for the renovation of The Club/Coffee Shop Building 806 including demolition of stainless steel beverage machine, stage, and walls. Installation of cabinets and countertops, electric fire place, new blinds, vinyl wood flooring in the Main Dining area, Smyrna room sitting area, Lounge and halls. Prep and paint walls in Main Dining area, Smyrna room, sitting area, Lounge, restrooms and halls. The restrooms renovation included the removal of wallpaper and paint walls, replace all partitions and countertop in restrooms.
